The New York State Science and Technology Law Center (NYSSTLC), located at Syracuse University College of Law, helps individuals and companies with new technologies by giving them advisement based on their innovation. Faculty and law students advise clients on certain legal needs and issues based on their new products. The law students do research reports on the growth of the market and how your technology with impact the market. NYSSTLC also assists with giving patents and licensing for new startups, and how to commercialize your company. This service is funded by the Empire State Development’s Division of Science Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR), they offer these resources to new and existing companies to become more efficient through the use of their new technology.
